About Me

Hi Everyone! I'm Onica, but ​for the majority of my life I've been called "Tashia"! I'm a mother, wife, baker and crafter. I absolutely love taking the ideas of my clients and seeing them come to life. My baking journey began when I was about sixteen years old when I was asked to bring a dish to a church function and the dish of choice just so happened to be a dozen vanilla cupcakes. From that day seeing the expressions on the faces of the members of the church showed me that this was something I needed to be doing, now if you're wondering did I act on this inclination right away? The answer is definitely no, not at all, even though some people have said that was God telling me what I needed to be doing. I actually didn't open my business up until 2018, at the start of Covid nonetheless. Fortunately my job was not one of the many that decided to shut down due to the pandemic but they did cut our hours so for extra money around the house to help keep bills paid I started baking again and when I say things took off, they took off. Baking became my passion again and I loved seeing the reactions that I would receive from my clients. Still have yet to make this a full time thing yet, but as of today it is definitely my no.1 favorite thing to do after spending time with my son and husband!
